London

It is amazing here! There are monuments and important buildings at every corner. The hotel we are staying in with our aunt is right across the river Thames from Parliament. Every day we cross The Westminster Bridge and go into the big city. One day we went out and saw the Buckingham Palace and the royal guards. The palace was covered in security and it was so big!

Another day, we left London and went on a tour that took us to the Roman Baths and Stonehenge. Stonehenge was my favorite because the grass was so green and it looked beautiful and majestic. Some things that I saw all over London were little pubs full of Fish & Chips and bright red telephone booths that we all tried to stuff into!

My favorite place we went to in London was definitely the Postal Museum. The postal museum is a little museum that is all about the history of post offices in London and the styles of mailboxes and how they transported mail. Part of the museum is a little original mail car and tracks that you can ride in. There is a little conductor’s car in the front which is followed by smaller card full of wagons of mail. Papa could hardly fit in the mail car which we were all stuffed into. (see pictures below). It was so much fun!

Overall, London was a little busy for me but it was definitely Queen-worthy!

I will see you next time and if you have any suggestions or questions you can write them in the comments.
